SOCIETY - A Child Organization that Needs Help!

The volunteer, non-profit organization for children, "Child's Smile", has made its presence notable during the past 15+1 years by offering love and shelter to children that are neglected by their families mentally as well as physically.

Organization’s main concern is defending children’s’ rights, practically, providing services to children on a 24/7,365 days a year, working for children’s physical, mental, intellectual stability and spiritual strength.

In specific, the organization has 16 houses all over Greece,hosting children with various backgrounds (neglected, destitute, children with cancer, etc.). The support is ongoing, from the time a child arrives at a home shelter, until child’s adulthood/ until the child hopefully overcomes his health problem.

"Child's Smile" works closely with state authorities (Police, Prosecution, Hospitals etc.) and supports all institutional aspects that would make more efficient on children’s issues.

Due to its status, as a non-profit organization, the organization is supported by companies, ordinary people that offer any kind of help (financially, food and other products) and by volunteers. From the financial help, specialized personnel  is employed. 

However, due to crisis, this organization is in the danger of closure, with the consequence of leaving many children in need, homeless and supportless.
