COMMUNITY - Social Solidarity Teaching in Malevizi (Greece)

Teachers of High School of Malevizi,in Crete, took the initiative to initiate Social Tuition to help students that are financially weak.

In specific, as of March 12,  teachers will be able to give free classes to students that cannot have an out of school educational support, due to financial problems, in various disciplines. The initial selection of students who attend the remedial courses will be made by the same teachers, while the new school year, the selection will be made by the municipal social service Malevizi. Classes will take place in the halls of high school volunteers from Gazi Teachers of various disciplines and this move has the full support of the municipality Malevizi.

Note: In Greece, except from school hours and classes, there is an extra educational support, in the private sector (hence need to pay in order to attend it) that helps students to improvise in classes that they might feel weak, as well as help them prepare themselves to the examination that takes place once a year, in order to achieve the specified requirements/grade to enter the selected by them academic institutions.
