TECHNOLOGY - The Largest Computer in the World!

The biggest and fastest computer in the world is under construction in order to study the mysteries of universe. 

In particular,  IBM and the Netherlands Institute for Radio Astronomy are cooperating in servicing the needs of the largest radiotelescope called SKA.

The ambitious project is estimated to cost approximately 33 million euros and will be completed by 2015. The computer will process daily volume, equivalent to the volume of information "exchanged" daily on the Internet.

What is next: The construction of the huge radiotelescope. For its construction, 20 countries will cooperate. The radiotelescope is expected to be completed in 2024.
