Philippe Croizon is a great example of what an
individual can accomplish against fears and personal restraints;
Mr. Croizon,is a quadruple, french originated, that follows his dream despite difficulties.

Mr. Croizon hasn't always been quadruple. What changed his life was an electrocution
accident in 1994; at the age of 18 he was struck by an electric shock of more than 20,000
volts when trying to remove a TV antenna from a roof.
However, this turning point in his life, did not make him quit from his life and dreams, and now at the age of 44 he is globally admired for his courage to swim from cold waters island of Little Diomede (Alaska), crossing the Bering Strait, to Big
Diomede (eastern Russia) covering a distance of 4 km (2.5 miles) in 80 minutes.
As this task is not easy, he is equipped with flippers attached to prosthettic limbs and he is accompanied by long-distance swimmer Arnaud
Chassery.
Nonetheless,
this is not the first time Mr. Croizon completed such as hard task, as in the
past he has crossed
Papua New Guinea to Indonedia (Oceania-Asia), Red Sea to Jordan (Africa- Asia),
Spain to Morocco (Europe-Africa).
